West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee held a mega protest in Kolkata against the alleged harassment of Bengali-speaking people in BJP-ruled states. "The BJP calls all Bengali-speaking people...Rohingyas. Anyone who speaks Bengali is arrested and put behind bars," she said, adding that their attitude towards Bengalis is disheartening. PM Modi is reportedly scheduled to visit the state on July 18.
