A man from Spain, Jesus Abrielle, called the emergency number 112 after two thieves entered his home in Bengaluru. He attempted to explain his situation in English and Spanish but the operator allegedly hung up after saying, "Speak in Kannada". Reportedly, Abrielle remained confined in one room while the intruders decamped with valuables worth ₹82,000 earlier this week.
