A CBI court has convicted former Bank of India (BOI) Deputy Chief Manager Pankaj Khare and two others in a 2008 bank fraud case worth ₹6.8 crore. The convicts have been sentenced to three years of imprisonment and fined ₹1.25 lakh each. Khare and others were accused of cheating BOI's Lucknow branch by fraudulently availing the cash credit facility.
