Artificial Intelligence (AI) will shift the role of software engineers from coding to adopting a mindset more like that of a CEO, VP of Engineering at OpenAI Srinivas Narayanan said. He added that engineers must focus on defining the "what" and "why" of a problem as AI systems increasingly handle the "how" of building and execution.
