Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin told PM Narendra Modi that Centre's rejection of Metro Rail proposals for Coimbatore and Madurai has caused "resentment" among public. He urged PM to direct the Home Affairs Ministry to reconsider the projects. Earlier, Stalin had accused the Centre of approving metros in smaller BJP-ruled cities while rejecting Madurai and Coimbatore projects on "flimsy grounds."
