BJP's Tarkishore Prasad has clinched victory in the Katihar Assembly constituency of Bihar, defeating Vikassheel Insaan Party's (VIP) Saurav Kumar Agarwal by over 22,000 votes. Prasad won the 2020 elections with a margin of over 10,000 votes. Prasad also emerged victorious in the 2015, 2010, and 2005 elections, making this his fifth consecutive term as the MLA.
