A 13-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur faked her own kidnapping after being scolded by mother for using "mobile phone, talking to friends and applying lipstick". She also wrote a ransom note demanding ₹15 lakh. The girl had broke open her piggy bank for money to live alone for a month. The police has reunited the girl with her family.
