Police said a man abandoned his 10-year-old son at the India-Bangladesh border in West Bengal's Basirhat on Tuesday night. The boy's mother had left for her father's home after a fight, leaving him with her in-laws. When the father tried to hand the child over to her and she refused, he allegedly abandoned the boy at the border.
