The Centre has declared parts of Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland as 'disturbed area' under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) for six more months. The order applies to three districts of Arunachal Pradesh and certain adjoining areas. Similarly, the Act was extended in entire Manipur, except for the jurisdiction of 13 police stations, and in parts of Nagaland.
