Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi reacted to the mosques being covered in Uttar Pradesh ahead of Holi and said there is no need to politicise festivals. "I request anyone who is celebrating Holi tomorrow to celebrate it enthusiastically but do not throw colour on any Muslim without consent," he added. Azmi was recently criticised over his remark praising Aurangzeb.
