Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday lauded PM Narendra Modi over India's action against Pakistan through Operation Sindoor, saying PM acted as a statesman in accepting their request for cessation of hostilities. "Peace after victory is the most honourable course to follow," he added. He said that PM took the decision in the nation's best interests.
