RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son, Tej Pratap Yadav, will contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections from the Mahua assembly seat in Vaishali district. He will fight the election from the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) party, which he founded after his expulsion from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) earlier this year. Names of several other JJD candidates were also announced.
