DC have not retained their captain Rishabh Pant ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction, ending their eight-year association with the wicketkeeper-batter. Pant made his debut for DC in 2016 and scored 3,284 runs in 111 IPL matches for the franchise. DC have retained Axar Patel (₹16.5 crore), Kuldeep Yadav (₹13.25 crore), Tristan Stubbs (₹10 crore) and Abishek Porel (₹4 crore).
