A Hyderabad woman sought government's help to rescue her husband Shaik Ashraf, who was trafficked to Myanmar from Dubai on pretext of a job. Ashraf was told to engage in internet scam, given electric shocks when he refused, and was physically tortured. He was released after his wife sent money to his captors, but was arrested after he entered Thailand.
