Anil Dalpat, who turned 61 today, was the first Hindu to play for Pakistan in international cricket. He is the first cousin of Danish Kaneria, who also represented Pakistan. Dalpat was a wicketkeeper and made his debut in 1984. He played nine Test matches and 15 ODIs for Pakistan. In his nine Tests, he effected 25 dismissals.
