At Mumbai's Azad Maidan, 577 protestors were treated at a 24-hour medical help center, and over 1,000 BMC staff have been deployed to manage sanitation due to the increased crowd size. The BMC has provided 25 tankers of drinking water and is using six fumigation teams to prevent insect breeding. Five trucks of coarse gravel have been used for ground leveling.
