A Gurugram woman was cheated of ₹20.37 lakh by two people posing as Mumbai police officers, the police said. The victim was informed that her Aadhaar card, linked to bank accounts in Mumbai, was used to execute "criminal transactions". The victim was further asked to make a payment for verification.
