AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi alleged that a new police outpost opposite Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal is being built on Waqf land. "Construction near protected monuments is prohibited under Ancient Monuments Act...Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath are responsible for creating a dangerous environment in Sambhal," he said. Reacting to it, DM Rajendra Pensiya said, "The land belongs to municipality."
