After an MBBS student was gangraped in West Bengal's Durgapur, TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar said that rapes happen everywhere. "There'll be one or two cases in a society...you cannot find any country in the world where this really doesn't take place," she stated. This comes after West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said that girls shouldn't go out at night.
