The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a plea seeking restoration of a 7-foot broken idol of Lord Vishnu at Madhya Pradesh's Javari temple, a part of the Khajuraho group of monuments. "Go and ask the deity itself to do something now...you say you are a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu...so go and pray now," the CJI BR Gavai-led bench said.
