A senior IPS officer of the Haryana cadre, Y Puran Kumar, died by suicide at his residence in Sector 11, Chandigarh, on Tuesday afternoon. "The CFSL team has reached the spot, and an investigation is underway. More details will be known after the post-mortem," an official said. He was due to retire on May 31, 2033, as per Indian Express.
