A 27-year-old accident victim's body was left on the road for hours as Mahobkanth police station in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba district and Harpalpur police station in Madhya Pradesh disagreed over jurisdiction. The victim, Rahul Ahirwar, was hit by an unidentified vehicle. After locals staged a protest, MP police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
