Maharashtra Deputy CM and NCP leader Ajit Pawar said it was his mistake to field his wife, Sunetra Pawar, against cousin and NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Sule had defeated Sunetra in the Baramati constituency by over 1.5 lakh votes. Ajit's remarks came ahead of the Assembly elections in Maharashtra.
