The Chhattisgarh High Court said police becomes "toothless tigers" when it comes to affluent people. The court said this after taking suo motu cognisance of media reports that a large group in 18 cars had brought traffic on National Highway-49 to a halt. It added that the action taken by the police was "merely an eye wash".
