India’s Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are rapidly adopting AI, especially Agentic and Generative AI, a new report stated. This has led to a 17-18% hiring surge for these centres, although total hiring in the IT sector dropped in the quarter ending September. Around 58% of GCCs are already investing in Agentic AI, while 29% may scale it up in 2026.
