The preliminary report of the investigation into the crash of the Air India plane that killed 260 people revealed that both pilots had arrived in Ahmedabad on the previous day and had an adequate rest period before operating the flight. Both pilots had combined flying experience of nearly 10,000 hrs. The crew had undergone a pre-flight Breath Analyser test.
