India's chief economic advisor Dr Venkatraman Anantha Nageswaran recommended in Economic Survey 2025 that governments around the country should get out of the way of business to allow them to focus on their core mission. This would be a significant contribution that governments can make and it will foster innovation and enhance competitiveness, Nageswaran said.
