According to an HT analysis, RJD has given the majority of its seats to Yadavs, while BJP leads in Brahmins, Rajputs, and Bhumihars. JD(U) has given most of its seats to Kurmis. NDA has fielded five Muslim candidates out of 243 (BJP has fielded zero). The Mahagathbandhan has fielded 31 Muslims, including 19 on RJD seats and 10 on Congress.
