From December 10, Australia will become the first country in the world to bar people aged 16 and under from using social media. The ban, which included platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, TikTok, X, YouTube, Kick and Reddit, has now expanded to include Amazon-owned Twitch. The country has not banned the image-sharing platform Pinterest, Reuters reported.
