Premium and luxury travel bookings have grown 35% to 40% as Indians travelling abroad for holidays are increasingly opting for longer and more luxurious experiences, Moneycontrol reported citing data from travel operators. Notably, Indians have spent $50 billion on overseas travel in last three years. European destinations like Switzerland and France continue to be in demand among Indian tourists.
