Leading news organisations like New York Times, Reuters, Associated Press and even pro-Trump channel Newsmax refused to sign US Defence Department's new press policy. The policy deems a reporter "a security risk" should they even ask defence-related matters to personnel and restricts reporters' movement in some areas of Pentagon. Media organisations have till Tuesday 5 pm to sign the policy.
