The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) suspended wrestler Bajrang Punia for four years for his alleged refusal to provide sample for dope test on March 10 this year during national selection trials. NADA had provisionally suspended Bajrang in April following which the world wrestling governing body UWW also suspended him. His four-year ban will be effective retrospectively from April 23, 2024.
