BJP leader Mohan Bisht defeated AAP's Adeel Khan and AIMIM's Tahir Hussain to emerge victorious in Mustafabad, which has 39.5% Muslim population, in Delhi Assembly polls. He was sitting MLA from Karawal Nagar and was replaced by Kapil Mishra ahead of polls. Mohan was first elected as an MLA in 1998 from Karawal Nagar, a seat he retained till 2015.
