According to reports, Bangladesh plans to buy 20 Chinese-made J-10CE fighter jets at an estimated cost of $2.2 billion. The report added that Bangladesh would receive the fighter jets in 2026 and 2027, and it's being done "to modernise Bangladesh Air Force and strengthen national air defence." The payment for jets would be spread across 10 years, up to 2036.
