The Indian Navy said it successfully achieved maiden mating of Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicles (DSRV) with foreign submarines in South China Sea during Exercise Pacific Reach. "This milestone underscores our...commitment to global submarine rescue," Indian Navy added. Submarine mating is the process where a DSRV securely connects to a disabled submarine's escape hatch to rescue its crew.
