RJD leader and I.N.D.I.A. bloc's Bihar Chief Ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, has promised to double allowances for the state's Panchayati Raj representatives, offering ₹50 lakh insurance and pensions if elected. He has also pledged higher commissions for PDS distributors and ₹5 lakh interest-free loans for traditional workers. Bihar’s Assembly elections will be held on November 6 and 11.
