BJP leader Smriti Irani said Prime Minister Narendra Modi proved it is not necessary to be a Gandhi scion to become PM. "Rahul Gandhi wants to provoke the government. Even PM Modi knows that he acts to keep himself relevant," she added. Irani accused the Leader of the Opposition of speaking against India's democratic institution at international forums.
