Around 40 police personnel were injured, while some villagers also sustained injuries after clashes broke out between both over a coal mine expansion project in Chhattisgarh's Surguja on Wednesday. The clash broke out when villagers tried to stop workers and officials heading towards the mine gate after accusing them of attempting to extend the project area without their consent.
