Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman's participation in IPL 2025 remains doubtful as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) stated that it has not been approached for a no-objection certificate (NOC). "Mustafizur is supposed to go with [Bangladesh] team to UAE according to the schedule," BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury said. Mustafizur was signed as replacement for DC's Jake Fraser-McGurk for ₹6 crore.
