Seven lawsuits have been filed against OpenAI in state courts in California by families in the US and Canada, the Wall Street Journal reported. The lawsuits claimed family members were harmed after talking to OpenAI's ChatGPT, and four people allegedly died by suicide. The family of a 23-year-old man who died by alleged suicide said ChatGPT "contributed to his isolation".
