A 33-year-old man, Mohammad Zafarul Haque, died of cardiac arrest at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon on October 12, a statement said. Haque collapsed near the finish line and couldn't be revived despite CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Dr Sudhir Kumar, a Hyderabad neurologist, said males are more likely to suffer cardiac arrest in these races than females.
