West Bengal LoP and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari alleged that TMC MLA Bivas Sardar's wife, Namita Sardar, who's a sitting Councillor of Baruipur Municipality's Ward 7– has two voter IDs. He said, "This is how TMC rigs the system. One person, two votes, zero shame." He also urged Election Commission to cancel duplicate IDs, disqualify her and file an FIR.
