An 11-year-old boy died after sustaining severe head injuries after the iron gate of a playground in Bengaluru's Malleswaram fell on him on Sunday evening. "He succumbed due to excessive blood loss," the police said. Initial probe showed that the hinge holding of the gate was rusted and led to the fall when the boy pulled the gate.
