Four Americans and one Ukrainian national pled guilty to helping North Korean scammers obtain remote IT employment with US companies. Some of the accused also hosted company-issued laptops in their homes to make it appear the workers were based in the US. The scheme affected 136 firms and generated $2.2 million in revenue for North Korea, US Justice Department said.
