Former British Olympic athletics coach Jose Vicente Leiva-Modahl has been charged with 19 offences, including sexual assault of a child, rape and controlling and coercive behaviour. All charges relate to alleged offences against one woman between 2012 and 2024. The 65-year-old, husband of former Olympic middle-distance runner Diane Modahl, will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
