Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora, who lost from Worli seat against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray by a margin of 8,801 votes, said that he took on UBT’s strongest team in Worli. Taking to X, he wrote, "Despite MNS splitting 19,367 of Mahayuti’s votes, we led at one point & cut Aditya's margin to 8,801 from 67,427 in 2019."
