South Africa's T20I captain Aiden Markram was bought by LSG at his base price of ₹2 crore on Day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah. Markram had scored 220 runs in 11 IPL 2024 matches while representing SRH. LSG also bought Markram's compatriot David Miller for ₹7.5 crore.
