A thick layer of smog engulfed Delhi as the national capital's air quality remained in the "severe plus" category on Tuesday morning. According to CPCB, the overall AQI spiked to 494 in Delhi, while in several areas it touched the 500 mark. Furthermore, at least 22 trains were delayed and nine others were cancelled on Tuesday amid the low visibility.
