Apex Body Leh has announced that it will not participate in the talks with Union Home Ministry, scheduled to take place on October 6, till normalcy is restored in Ladakh. The body also cited the arrest of its member Sonam Wangchuk under NSA and the levelling of the 'anti-national' tag against protests for statehood as reasons behind its decision.
