How microplastics may weaken bone health?

Microplastics, particles smaller than five millimetres, are found in everything from bottled water to seafood and household dust. Once inhaled or ingested they can accumulate in organs. "They can build up in bone marrow and can interfere with how bone cells grow and repair themselves," warns Dr Dheeraj Bhateja of Artemis Hospitals. Another doctor said microplastics can disturb hormonal balance.
